I've searched for threads about this, came across a few mentioning drop frame and pulldown, but I'm not sure what to do.

The problem is that I loose synch progressively starting at about 23 min. I've actually verified that the timecodes in the .son file match the audio. The subtitle though, kicks in late.

I'd greatly appreciate if someone could help me solve this. This is the 1st disk I'm making with subtitles using Maestro, which is great otherwise.

If it's the standard drop frame issue then all you need to do is run the video stream through pulldown.exe and use -drop_frame true. If the video stream is already 29.97 then be sure to also use -nopulldown. Then import the new video stream into Maestro.

Thanks, that explains why I had trouble with this. The stream is already 29.97 I didn't understand the no pulldown.

I wish I was more patient so that I could have tried this.
I wound up MANUALLY edititing time codes. I hope to never have to do this again.
