My problem is in import option for subs. When I try to import subs ( *.sub) into a movie I get the following
message: Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files.
The reason for the error could not be determined.
And no subs are inserted into a movie.
If I do the same with subs in *.txt format then the message is:
Warning: Overlapping events have been discarded.
And in that case subtitles are displayed (in preview option) but i only see line 1 of the subs. and not sub line 2 (on a multi-lined sub)....
Instead of: No, 'tis not so deep as a well, nor so wide as a
church-door; but 'tis enough,'twill serve: ask for
me to-morrow, and you shall find me a grave man.

Recently I found out that subs saved in subtitle workshop as "MAC DVD Studio Pro" and "Sonic DVD Creator" works just fine.
