Ogg Writ - the official .ogg subtitle/text stream format

i recently stumbled over the "(near final) working draft" of the specs for the official .ogg subtitle format oggwrit, which you can find here (http://wiki.xiph.org/Writ)

also there seems to be some code about it in the xiph svn...

as i didnt find much discussion about it, i thought about starting one :D
what do you think about this format? its dis/advantages...
