Hi,
Dont know if this belongs in the newbie forum or here, so please forgive me if its the wrong forum.
Ok, dont know how to ask this so ill try to explain it.
Im Converting DVD's to mkv format to fit on CD's. I compress the video to Xvid, convert the sound to mp3, and I normally use subrip to get a .srt file for my subtitles. I then use VirtualdubMod to put it all together. I love the togglable subtitles, but It takes hours and hours to spell check each .srt files for each DVD, very tedious to say the least.
Recently I came accross a mkv video with toggle subtitles but to the best I can tell, the subtitles are bmp's in the mkv file, like a DVD normally is, not a text file. This is great! If i can use the bmp images from the DVD so i dont have to spend half the day spell checking each DVD it would be wonderfull! However after searching the forum I cant figure out how it is done!
Im still a learning all of this so any help would be apreciated!
Thank you!
