idx/sub files question!

hi all!
well i have subtitles for a movie that are in idx/sub format, but i wanted to extract them in order to translate them to my language!
Is there anyway i could do this?!

Use subresync (save as ...) or subrip to open the .idx file. As idx/sub subs are bitmap-based, both methods involve an OCR step.
