Joining Two .Sub Files?

I believe this can be done using vobsub joiner where you load in both .sub files, i just wondered how i calculated the timecode for the beginning of input 2. If anyone can help i would be most grateful or perhaps suggest another tried and tested method of doing this. The .sub files i'm dealing with are of the sub/idx format. Thanx in advance.

You use the length of the first video...e.g. just load the first avi in VirtualDubMod, scroll to the very end and note the timecode :)
