Hi

I will try to sync a Divx subtitle to my DVDR movie using
subtitleworkshop (SW).

I could only find a divx sub and the dvdr has no subs.

The problem is i can't load the movie in SW only 1 vob at a time.

I have read a thread in this forum about creating an AviSynth script

but cant find it.

Does anyone have this script , so i can see the complete movie in SW

and being able to sync it.

Thanx in advance
:D

Well, I have the last version of SW and it can not open any VOB files, are you sure what are you talking about?
However, what you want it is a little problematic, you can open only one VOB with SW (?), the same fact with BS player.
You could use DVD2AVI and VFAPI to generate a little avi... then you could see the whole movie with SW, but without audio... that make no sence :( .
You could see the movie using the same process, with BS player, and load the external audio and subtitles... at least you can see how they work... Still it is not the same if you use directly SW :( .
The last solution is to encode the entire movie on an avi. Then you are free... but of course that takes a lot of time.
If you would have some original subtitles directly from the DVD, you could do something else... but you don't have it, do you?

I run subtitleworkshop v.2.51

I first load the sub i want to sync and then i load the vob

in Movie/open. You can select the supported files and see it says VOB.

I tried to use DVD2AVI and VFAPI as you suggested and it works.

No sound but i played it first in powerdvd to see where the first

and last speaking is and i managed to get it sync.

And no, the DVD didnt have any subs.

It is not the perfect way (No sound) but it worked

Thanx
