I'm sure this has been asked before, I've run a search but without much success. The only related thread I've found was this one:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50095&highlight=missing+idx

So, apparently there's no way to solve my problem. Which is: I've ripped a subtitle with vobsub and I've deleted (yeah, I'm smart isn't? ;) ) the idx when cleaning the Vob/ifo... files after the DVD backup. So subrip don't load the .sub file, subresync load it but as an empty file, and vsfilter can't play it. It's there a way to get the sub works, with any tool without ripping it again?

Any help would be appreciated :)

what is your ripped subtitle *.sub spec, is it a segmented *.bmp?
or it's a text file?
if it is text file, your can open it with subtitleworkshop,
and add timesyc manually,
if it's bmp,i dont know how to help you.

It's *.bmp, so I guess I'll have to rip it again :( Without the idx there's no chance any tool can read it. Thanks for the reply :)
