Subtitle Convertion (SUB+IDX)

Im trying to convert a subtitle which are bitmap into a ssa format, but the problem is i would like the subtitles to keep their original location, but because its bitmap i guess it would require a program with a OCR feature too, if anybody know a way it could be done please reply. :P

Did you try subrip? I am not sure if subresync also supports positional information for subs, but it does OCR sub/idx subs.
