How do I go about adding subtitles to a multi-PGC VTS set?

The source is a DVD5 disc with 1 VTS set only and with in this VTS set, there are 5 PGCs. The source doesn't have subtitles at all. It has 1 audio stream. I would like to add subtitles to PGC 1 and 2 because the reset are extras. I have searched with the following string "add and subtitle" and a lot of information on nonmulti-PGC subtitle muxing with vobedit and ifoedit showed up. If there's a guide or something that I can read up on, please direct me there.

The source is DVD5, so I don't need to re-encoded it or anything. I just want to add some subtitles to it.

I have been trying to do the exact same thing. There is some help here: http://www.videohelp.com//viewtopic.php?t=219535

Especially at page 9, there is a guide on using DVDMaestro and mult PGCs DVDs. I have been trying to work with these but at this point, I don't have it all worked out. If you have found out any more info I would appreciate knowing.

I'd demux it with DoItFast4U. Read it up into ReAuthorist (remeber to set percent slider to 100%) or ScenAid (there is a switch that tells it to use original material and not reencoded one). Now import scp script into Scenarist and add your subititles there (if you have your subs in text-only format convert it to SSA and generate proper SST and bitmap files using MaestroSBT). After generating VOBs you can IfoUpdate them to original structure.

Thanks for the input, but I am trying do do this with DVDMaestro since I don't have Scenarist. Or some freeware like InfoEdit, etc.

Any suggestions.

You can use ReJig program.

In DVDMaestro there is a concept of Playlist (which map to PGC) but i've never been able to copy original PGC structure (DVDMaestro tends to create Play-All playlist which i couldn't remove - note however that i wasn't trying it that hard).
Have a look at dvd-author (natively written for unix world but there are windows port of it).
