Make one the VobSubs and OCR the other one to SRT or SSA format and put them in using TextSub?

You should have said you were using AutoGK in the first place. Only External Subs can be ripped for 2 languages when using AutoGK. If you want to burn in 2 languages, you'll have to use GKnot or some other program. You can make a request to len0x in the GKnot Development Forum, but I don't know how far you'll get.

Burning in one subtitle language already completely screws up the movie, but 2, OMG!!
Maybe you can just use VDub with the suitable filters ;)
