Here's a pretty strange problem: when playing the DVD, the added subtitle will "flutter" (pretty annoying small vertical oscillations with a frequency like 24 or 25 Hz) on the screen. The original subs are being displayed OK (no such flutter). Even more strange: the problem occurs only on the standalone player (Pioneer DV-757AI) but not on the TV-out of the PC (ATI Radeon-based). Different settings like video output (Composite / S-Video / RGB) seem not to help. Unfortunately I couldn't try on a progressive display, only on standard TV-set.
