View Full Version : How to extract subs without .ifo ?
Hi. Unfortunately i've deleteted .ifo and now I have big problem. Its impossible to get back oryginal DVD... I have .bup files, but after changin extensions to .ifo it doesnt work. So: Is there any chance to extract subs (using VobSubRipper) without .ifo ? Using only .vob files?

SubRip can easily do that. The only information you're losing with IFO files is subtitle colors.

Did you just rename the BUPs or copy then rename them?...maybe vobsub requires the bups to be there as well...
Because the bups are identical to the ifos after all..

What application, if any, will extract subs from VOBs if you have no other associated IFO or BUP files?
(I am in this situation now, and can't find a utility which will even recognize a plain VOB as an openable file.
