subtitling formats

what plugins do i need for windows media player 9 to support all the subtitling formats such as .srt, .ssa, .ass, .sub, .idx, .psb

If ne player is needed to support all the formats what is that?
plz let me know...

get vsfilter from http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli

it supports most you listed ..i don't know what psb is, maybe it doesnt support that, but all the other it does. For reference, VSFilter is the newer version of Vobsub, most of the things ppl say on Vobsub you can directly apply to VSFilter as well. And if you use windows 98/ME use the "release non-unicode" in the package, else use the "release unicode".

I think you might have found out as much by searching a bit, but well so it is said once more :)

VSFilter covers .psb (Power DivX format), at least when it was VobSub and included documentation with the distribution.
