Hi all,
I'm pretty new to this stuff, however, I extensively tried to make switchable subtitles to my SVCD, almost read all articles/threads...and still didn't get the right result :( (better said: didn't get ANY result :angry: ).
I have a Philips DVD729 player. The manual states that it is accepting SVCD subs. I checked the DVDRHELP pages (they say the 729 does accept SVCD subs), also loaded the test SVCD image with subs (no subtitles were shown on my player when I played this one).
Seems that Philips players need special subs....but which one...and how do I mux them into my mpg stream?!?!
The programms I'm using are: MaestroSBT & WinSubMux.
I also tried to make a Philips IMG file with Maestro, strip the header and all "&" stuff (otherwise winsubmux doesn't accept). But this didn't help either.
Anybody there who can tell me the right procedure?? :confused:
