ok i used dvd shrink to rip the dvd
I ripped the english sub from the vobs using subrip
corrected the ocr errors L's and I's using Word's find and replace
translated to Polish using English translator3
proof read and fixed any remaining errors in the text
moved the { T back to {T so it loads ok into
subtitle studio saved as srt
loaded that into sub2srt created the srt subtitle file
used vobedit06 to strip the streams
and reauthored the dvd with ifoedit95 and cut the subcolors
from the original Ifo and pasted in to the new ifo created by ifoedit.

so now i sort of have a new film version but with small problems
all subs but mine are out of sync (but they look good)
mine are in the right place but not so good.
my titles stay on screen for too long and there is no italic formatting.

any ideas on how to fix the original sub timings
set a good font, size, and color setting to use for my subs
and set the screen on time for each sub

I know i am getting there slowly:)
but its the final polish (not Polish) that is missing still

warm regards
john

TRy only to mux the polish sup (as 20), forget about the other ones.
Copy and paste colors from a good looking ifo (not the very same movie but another one).
I am not 100% sure but I presume all these freeware proggies have limitations unless U keep it simple.....remember celltimes........
