and i dont believe that i have missed out of any thing but still i cant get any subs when played in software dvd player can anybody help please

Hi & welcome to the board ...

pls. provide some more information - e.g. are the subtitles actually present in your output and just not being displayed (by which soft player)? Does a standalone show them OK?

Did you check the filesize of your srt2sup output (i.e. does it contain your subs? Maybe also try to re-open the sup and see if it displays any subs)?

Does e.g. subrip detect any subs in your authored files?
