Green coulor on sub

Why Why make ifo edit subtitles green not readable text. Have ripped my dvd with dvddecrypter then I use ifo edit to create ifos to make sure all it's allright. After burning my dvd the text is green and not readable.

Please explain why this happens sometimes it's not allways.

fpr a while now but still no progress on how to get right color on movie.

Double-click the values ... they can be edited. Alternatively, do a copy-and-paste from the original ifo (open the original one, navigate to PGC_ITI, select copy colours from the menu, navigate to your target ifo's PGC_ITI and use the paste command there).

I don't have the original ifo file left, please help me out here.
Have destroyed several dvds now with nasty text.

I found VTS_PGC_1 and it looks like this, but I can't double click to cahnge values. Serious problem with computer ?

a new trick, I did as follows

- start IfoEdit

- press 'Open' and select the path to the ORIGINAL IFO file (here I did something else because I didn't have the original movie I took another movies ifo file)

- press 'Open' and select the path to new generated IFO file 'VTS_01_1.IFO'

- mark in the upper window of IfoEdit the ORIGINAL IFO (or whatever ifo file you have) and select under 'VTS_PGCITI' the PGC

- menu 'Subtitle Color' -> 'Copy Colors from this PGC'

- mark in the upper window of IfoEdit the new generated file 'VTS_01_0.IFO' and select under 'VTS_PGCITI' the 'PGC 1'

- menu 'Subtitle Color' -> 'Paste Colors to this PGC'

- press 'Save' to save the new ifo

- close IfoEdit

And yes it worked my fonts are now white but still a problem the font is very uggly. What to do with the fonts ???

Congrats ... your "trick" was exactly what I was trying to suggest :). I don't have access to ifoedit or a windows PC, so it was a bit vague, I have to admit.

There are no universal settings for the colours, subtitles are not all created equal.

As for ugly fonts - DVD subs are bitmap-based. If you don't like the way they look, you will have to extract the text information using an OCR process (use subrip or vobsub) and then re-create your subtitles using e.g. dvdsuptools or srt2sup.

I think I'am on track now. Change font will be another chapter, can see it's not so easy.

You can use my SupRemap tool to edit the colours in an IFO file it is much easier than IfoEdit.
