automatic subs?

i am burning godfather part 2, i have ripped and joined both discs, when i burn i lose all the auto subs (when they talkin in italian). can you keep them or are they lost for good? i tried burning with all the subs but still nothin.

the automatic subs u r reffering to r forced subtitles. When u ripped the subs they have lost the forced flag.

Just locate them and click on the forced flag in Maestro.

Especially if you are not retaining DVD menus/structure then you can also rip just the forced subs and then create an additional stream with just these subs. This is common with retail PAL DVDs anyway - more common than forced subs, in my experience.

i really dont wanna look dumb, but how do i determine the forced sub after i have decrypted the disc? and then turning it into a stream... is there a guide for this.

i am fairly new to all this dvd stuff and all but this and chapter inserting i have found in the forum or elsewhere in the website, bloody good i say.
