Hi, I wanted to cut a SUB+IDX file with vobsub cutter, but the result was a zero file output. So I checked th IDX file and it's in a strange format (counting backward and marked with (-) on each time stamp).

Here's a litte example
# English
id: en, index: 0
# Decomment next line to activate alternative name in DirectVobSub / Windows Media Player 6.x
# alt: English
# Vob/Cell ID: 2, 1 (PTS: 0)
timestamp: -02:06:47:119, filepos: 000017800
timestamp: -02:06:44:416, filepos: 000022800
timestamp: -02:06:41:346, filepos: 000028000
timestamp: -02:06:32:804, filepos: 00002a000
timestamp: -02:06:28:600, filepos: 000030800
timestamp: -02:06:22:861, filepos: 000039800
timestamp: -02:06:20:859, filepos: 00003a000
timestamp: -02:06:17:689, filepos: 000043000
timestamp: -02:06:15:020, filepos: 00004f800
timestamp: -02:06:12:451, filepos: 000056000
timestamp: -02:06:09:648, filepos: 00005e000
timestamp: -02:06:07:746, filepos: 00005f000

Is there a way to fix this so I can cut it?

Currently my HDD with movie files is disconnected so I cannot check it... by when using vobsub to rip the subtitles from the vob, there is a checkbox in the window where you can select the languages. Try it.

Thanks.
The rip is not mine and I didn't make the SUB+IDX. I know how to rip/split etc'...
