Hello,
i write a guide for GKnot in german language. Is there an approximate schedule, when it will give a new CodecPack and a new RipPack? Then I could adjust myself to it.
Best regards

codec pack will be out as soon as AC3 filter 1.0 will be stable. There are no plans to update 0.28.8 pack yet.

I'm sorry if this has already been covered. I just need some clarification. I have attempted to switch to dgmpgdec instead of dvd2avi but GordianKnot refuses to open the project file. I have replaced the mpeg2dec3dg.dll with the newer dgdecode.dll to no avail. I would like to use the newer application but right now the only way I'm able to is to make two project files with both dvd2avi (for GKnot) and dgmpgdec (for virtualdub) and then manually edit the avisynth script that GKnot produces. Is there a fix? or is a new version of GKnot necessary to open DGMPGdec project files?

@smokeslikeapoet
I am using latest dgmpgdec109 with GKnot with no problem. Did you rename DGDecode.dll to mpeg2dec3.dll in GKnot directory? Thatīs the only way it works. Changing the "Use alternative mpeg2dec.dll in scripts" to DGDecode.dll in GKnotīs options wonīt work.
Hope that helps,

Ok thanks for the tip. For some reason I tried a dozen different things but not the simplest of fixes. It worked this time.

The latest version of DG's tools also works (DMPGdec 1.0.12) with older version of Gknot for those of you who haven't switched over to the newer beta versions. Just rename the file as loni_blues suggests and you should be fine.

I'm gonna unstick this thread as 0.28.8 becomes an obsolete version with the release of upcoming 0.33 (everyone is recommended to check out 0.32 as 0.33 will be pretty much it).
