I am running WinXP pro.
VobSub 2.23
The problem / bug has been present for some time.
My problem:
I am ripping a lot of series. I am using DVD Decrypter 3.1.6.0 to rip at the PGC/cell level. The subtitles will only be detected for the first PGC (it is named after the .vob). I use the rename feature to save the other PGC parts without over-writing the previous PGC part. I think this renaming process causes VobSub not to detect the subtitle info correctly.
I know ths sub info is there because older versions of VobSub (v6) detect and rip the sub info correctly. SubRip also "sees" the info.
For now I am reverting to VobSub 2.08 to deal with these then reinstalling 2.23 to do any resyncing since it resyncs properly.
I would like to find a fix so I won't have to keep reverting to an older version to do sub rips.
Thanks,
John
