Soft-SSA Guide?

Hi Guys,
I've been checking out the Matroska examples with embedded SSA subtitles and I was wondering if anyone here knows if there is a good guide online on how to modify SSA files.
Also is Subrip the best program for ripping subtitles to SSA.:confused:

anyway..i'll put like this: i use subrip for all sub ripping purposes and i do make SSA subs :) ..about the editing guide..dunno, there is Sub Station Alpha's Help file and there are the SSA specifications, thats all i ever needed. You might want to give a try to Sub Station Alpha anyway if you're going to use SSA subs

After I posted that message, I found a good example of soft-ssa and also how to mux matroska files. I look forward to adding karaoke to my rips :)
