Extra subtitles to DVD

Hi!

I have a dvd-5 dvd and I would like to add 3 extra subtitle streams to it and burn it on a dvd-r.

So basicly, what I want to do is simply rip my DVD(s) onto my machine as Vobs and Ifos (this ive done so far), and I want to add my subtitles that are in .ssa or .srt into the Vobs/Ifos (im not sure how this works) then I want to burn the Vobs and Ifos and whatever else back onto a DVD-R.

So could someone tell me how, thanks...

hi,
unfortunately what you are trying to accomplish is not as easy as you might think....
what you'll have to do (unless i'm missing something obvious here) is to rip the DVD to pieces, preferably using Doitfast4u. then convert the subs to a usable format. *.srt files won't work for sure. then reauthor the DVD using a reauthoring software that has the capabilities of reproducing the exact DVD structure.
ideal would be a program like Scenarist NT (personal favourite :)) or DVDmaestro.

oh and don't forget to updated your ifo files afterwards using ifoupdate :)
