Cant mux subtitle into movie

im sorry if this is a newbie qns, but i cant seem to be able to mux my .srt or .ssa subtitle file into my movie using vobsub. the file created is always 200+ kb. is there other way i can mux subtitle into movie???

for sort SRT:
a recent VirtualDubMod doesnt have a "audio" menu, but a "streams" menu. Today a new VDM will be announced, you'll want to get that one :)
streams->stream list->add will allow you to select a SRT file

for soft SSA:
graph edit. The "subtitle source" filter from Gabest allows muxing of
SSA subs, but AFAIK its only supported in matroska files. This pic (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/zedudeishere/site_images/matroska_graph2.jpg) is for real video and SRT subs, but it basicly shows how the graph should look like. When you've built the graph press the play button and wait till the play button is green again.

finally made my own pic (http://loggia.zzcom.net/naminerd/blah/xvidVorbisSsaGE.png), this for SSA. Start with dropping the video file into graph edit, the other filters with insert filter, all are in "DirectShow Filters"
