What are the best tools for subtitle extraction and conversion for use in Maestro and are there any Maestro-specific subtitling guides?

1. DVDDecryper -> file or ifo mode
2. SubRip -> OCR to SRT with XY coordinates
3. SubtitlesK5ky -> import SRT, export STL with Y coordinates

Thanx for the info, everyone.
One question on SkyK5ky: Is it only for software players or can it be used for Authoring DVDs for standalone players?

If you build the DVD in Maestro, the subtitles will work on both types.

To enhance K5's 2nd part, u can rip in bmp mode and getrid of the trouble of recognising each and every character correctly and post OCR corrections. Save in son format for Maestro and u r done.
