Ripping the Time only, With no text. HELP

Is it possible to rip just the times of a DVD's Subtitles without having any text?

The reason I ask is because it's a pain to keep typing in the Letter for each Line. Especially since im doing Japanese Subtitles, so it asks me EVERY letter. I'd rather just get the time coding (thats all im after anyway).

Any advice?

maybe try search and replace for every letter. ie in notepad edit>replace type in a letter and leave the bottom field blank and hit replace all. i'm sure there are other simpler ways.

How would I do that? Is there a way to view the subtitle file before even using SubRip? Cuz I wanna make it so that when I use SubRip that it never asks me to identify a letter.

Perhaps you could write to author of SubRip and ask him to implement what you need.

if u want just the timecode u should rip in bmp format. This way it wont ask u for each letter since it will save each sub as a bmp file but it will keep a log of the timecodes for u.
