How to increase the font size of sub/idx?

I want to add permanent subtitle (which is sub/idx format) to avi before converting to vcd & burning to cdr. How can I increase the font size in vobsub filter screen. It seems that I can change only the color of the subtitles but not the size. Thanks in advance.

i think by editing this line in the idx file
scale: 100%, 100%
to scale: 150%, 150% or something
