i've got several small clips with seperate subs that i want to join. the subtitles might of course be shorter than the clips. this means i've got something like this
video1: 25:00 sec's
srt1: start 01:00, end 23:15 sec's
video2: 15:00 sec's
srt2: start 00:00, end 12:00 sec's
...
so if i join them with normal tools the first sub from srt2 will already start at 23:15, which is still in the first clip.
i tried to add the offset manually with subresync, but this tool seems to have a problem with multiple joins. it resets the subtitles after the 3rd opened file.
now i'm looking for a tool that is able to
a) automatically insert an empty dummy-subtitle, so that the srt-file will end exactly where the movie ends
or
b) join multiple srt's based on the absolute offset in min:sec:msec. something like subresync, but working for at least 47 srt-joins, not only 3.
i know this can be done manually but i don't want to do this 47 times in a row.
