is there any other way to play a rm file with vobsubs, just like divx
i don't want to convert the vobsub to .rt format

enable the special renderer in media classic player also doesn't work for me, everytime when the subtitle display the CPU (amd xp2000) load shoot up to 100 percent.

right now the only way that work is to convert the rm to other container like mkv/avi etc then it work correctly without the cpu load at 100% when subtitle display.

i also own a g400, and, afaik, there is no possibilty other than using mkv. which is the reason i was really happy when it turned up.

Another way is just to fire MPC and select you want to open RealMedia files using DirectShow - DVobSub will load as normal then - no need to remux ;). Or just open the .rm in old normal WMP6.4 or ZoomPlayer or whatever (with the support of Gabest's DirectShow RM splitter/decoder)

doh! right you are! the crucial part is that the file is read with vis the directshow system. The container type is pretty irrelevant. Sorry.
