Need tips for OCRing ! The bug with "I" being recognized as "l"

Hey I was just wondering wich proggie is the best to OCR .idx/.sub bitmap subtitles and also is there a way to avoid the bug where the character "I" is recognized as "l" and vice-versa.

There's no way for those OCR programs to differenciate "I" and "l" because it's the same picture for both characters...

Subrip offer a post-OCR correction to solve this pb (you just got to select your language and press the correct button). I use it pretty often and it's quite good !

or u can run the srt through ms word and spellcheck it.
