I'm using robot4rip and can't seem to get subtitles. I make the first pass without subs and now I have gone back to get them from the VOBs. But there are no VOBs, as I no longer have the DVD. In the Rips directory, I have these M2V files and I can't seem to get subtitles out of them, with robot4rip or with VobSub. Is this possible? Looks like robot4rip does not copy the subtitle streams over to the M2V files with my approach. I didn't have this problem with Smartripper. How should I be doing this?

hi,
getting subs out of an m2v/mpv file is impossible. why? because they are not there! m2v files are elementary mpeg video streams - they cannot contain anything. no audio, no video nothing. this can only be stored in vob files...

anyway, you're damn close to a rule 6 violation anyway! pls read the forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm) one more time!

OK, I reread the rules and understand your comment. Thanks for the warning and the explanation.
