Matroska + 2 SSA's Embedded: Multi-softsub Successfully

I ve just posted about this in "Alternative matroska splitter for directshow" (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54560&perpage=20&pagenumber=1), but since this is subtitle-related, let me make a short report here too just in case.

You can now softsub using SSA(s) embedded in Matroska.
These SSAs can be written in Unicode (utf-16), which means, you can multi-sub seamlessly (i.e. you can change any languages by just clicking without changeing the vobsub settings for Code Pages.)

IMHO, This is really cool, if you want to softsub using SSA--especially if you want to multi-sub. A little more info (incl screenshots) is available here (http://matroska.tripod.co.jp/ssa.html). Thankyou.

way too cool. i think i have to play a bit more with soft SSA. Chances are i did something wrong that it played so jerky last time i muxed one. I /have/ to get this up and running even if i have to save for a new comp, it's just crazy.

Did you use Vorbis? I heard vorbis audio can make an MKV jerky for some reasons, and the alt filter (CoreVorbis.ax) might fix the prob.

My test file was DivX5+Vorbis+2*SSAs and the newest versions of these filters worked perfectly for me, not only with MPC but with WMP9, Zoom Player 3.10 etc : regsvr32 matroskamuxer.ax
