Need help in subtitles Ripping issue

I've ripped an Hebrew subtitle from my DVD in DVD Decrypter (a single language).
Now I've only selected 1 subtitles language and I got in the end (after 30 minutes) a 33 Megabyte file (in Vob ext)!!! - Is this Noraml ? Isn't it suppost to be a smaller size? I mean it's only one language .. (2 or 3 mega byte)

Is there a chance that a single subtitle takes 33 megabyte?

Just to make sure - I'm able to take the file (vob, 33 MB) and convert it to Sub file with SubRip right ?

hi,
actually 33 meg seem ok to me... remember that when using vobsub subs (picture not OCR based) you compress them after ripping and then they are a few megs big!

oh and yes you can take it afterwards and convert it with subrip
