Ok, this is my problem :
I have a dvd .img file from an old backup i made.
I only ripped the english subtitles back then (dont ask me why :) )

What i want to do now is the following :
in the menu, u can also choose for dutch subtitles
I didnt rip those, so thats not gonna work.
Now i want to replace the subtitles i have (english) with new subtitles (dutch).
And to make it even more hard, im having the dutch subtitles in .srt format.

I really hope that someone can help me out here. If i need to buy software for this, thats no problem.

First of all welcome to the board.

To answer your question u can't insert anything in an image.

U have to mount the image using deamon tools and treat it as a dvd backup. i.e demux audio, video and subs and re-author them all together to a new image.

Obviously the english subs r inside so u can add the dutch ones too.

srt is native format to subrip so there isn't any prob at all. Open the file with subrip and export it to the format your authoring prog supports.

Is there like a clear tutorial for this ?
Cause i tried some things, but i am totally new for this.
If u could make me a step-list..like what things to do in what steps and what programs to use (like i said, im willing to buy programs for this to do easy)

I heard something about a program that can insert subs into vob files or something ?
And is the easiest thing to do to replace the english subs with dutch subs ?

Im willing to read some info about this and all, but this shouldnt be that difficult ?

Waiting for ur response,
Enzo
