Since Family Guy unfortunately did not get many viewers here in Germany (most likely due to it's unbearable dubbing), it does not seem very likely there'll be a German version of the DVDs any time soon (or ever!). However, as some of my friends do not speak english good enough I'd like to rip some eps from my original Family Guy DVDs and add an additional selfmade German subtitle stream and author a new DVD-R.
So far I've ripped one certain ep's english subtitle to ssa-format and translated it to German. This ssa-format comes with a complete timeline so all I'd need to do now is to convert this ssa file to a son file and the corressponding bmps so I can import this subtitle stream into Maestro.
Which would be the most convenient and fastest way to go? TIA for all suggestions!
