Hi, when I try to backup "Proof of Life", I only get subtitles till half of the movie. I don't know why, but after 1h04m the movie flicks and I have no more subtitles.
When I author the DVD with IFOEdit 0.95, the log window shows this error message:
"Stream 20 - Data will arrive too late.Currente SCR:350840832, Stream DTS:0" and the same message repeats several times with more SCR numbers.
Any idea about what's happening with my subtitles?

This same problem happens with "Matrix", I only have subtitles for about 6 minuts and completly out of line of the movie, after that the movie flicks a little and no more subs.
When I author the DVD with Ifoedit 0.95 I have the same error messages:"Stream 2-Data will arrive too late.Current SCR: ... "

Anybody had this problem already? What can I do to get the subtitles working ?

I have XP Pro, rip the movie with DVD Decrypter 3140 or SmartRipper 241, demux the Subtitles from the VOBs with VOBEdit 0.6 and use IFOEdit 0.95 to do the rest of the job.

I'll appreciate any help, because I spent already lots of hours trying to get proper backups and till now ... nothing.

Thanks,
Mike :(

Try SubRip: http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Subtitles/SubRip_1.15.exe

It's never failed me.

entropy,

Can you tell me how and what must I do with SubRip ? I download the program, rip my movie again without demuxing the movie, audio and subtitles, and using SubRip as I think I must, I ended with a ***.sub file with 86 kB. Now what must I do with this file ?
Thanks again,

Mike

Guys,

Thanks for your input.
I tried to follow your advice but it took me in a very different approach relatively at what I am used to do. Then I follow an advice from a fellow that use Vobsub and Sub2Sup to get the subtitles and it works very well for me too.
Right now I have subtitles during all the movie...

Thanks for your help,

Mike :)
