svcd movie with both cvd and svcd subs???

Hi guys,
I wonder if it is possible having two separate subs stream, one philips svcd subs and the other cvd subs?
This way my movies would play on both my home DVD players which play different subs types.
For example: according to WinSubMux 0.2.0.2 I can choose CVD subs for first stream and SVCD subs for second stream.
I tried this but I was unable to play any subs at all...
Does someone know if this is possible to achieve?

No success.
In most cases only the first (CVD/SVCD) of both streams is visible.

Your're right.
In most of the cases I can't get any subs and sometimes I only get the first stream to be available.
Do you think it has anything to do with the standard not allowing it?
Did you try to mux the streams with other tool than WinSubMux? I haven't because I don't know how to use tools besides WinSubMux...
Do you know some knowledge base where I can search for info on this subject?
I have been assuming that if in WinSubMux one can choose the type of sub for each stream it would be inside the standards...

It's a firmware problem of players.

I use TSCV 0.84 R2. It includes WinSubmux on the MPlex tab.
Rip subtitles with SubRip and save as BMPs with I-Author colour.
Then convert to Philips SVCD Designer format, split and and save the *.sub file.

Now you can choose in TSCV how to mux your SVCD subtitles:
as Philips SVCD, or as CVD.
