damn it, how the F*** do i make subtitles???

I've being trying to make subtitles for my SVCDs for 5 months now, and still no luck. the f**King guides that i have used are NOT accurate whatsoever.:rolleyes:

could someone plz help me out?

most of the guides i've have used, doom9's guide, vcdhelp guide..they provide you a link to download the programs that you need for subtitles, but the links doesn't work.


Plz provide an easy newbie subtitle guide. if you have one.

Well, NO EASY WAY.
Maybe this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32650) will help you a bit. All software mentioned there is from doom9 download section.

1) Watch your mouth.....There is plenty of peeps achieving what U are unable of and there is no need to write that kind of stuff (the f-word)
2) Be precise and U'll got the help U need
3) What are U trying to get ? Avi ? VCD ? SVCD ?
4) Do U need permanent or choosable subs ?
5) Where in the process do U get stucked ?
Give us those infos and we will answer ur question but remember to be polite !

a17: we really need to know the process and program you're using. Otherwise we'd just be firing blind shots in the dark and it's unlikely we'll hit the target (as in find out what you are doing, and what the problem is).

Try first permanent subtitles, generated by VobSub.
Use Avisynth script.
Then you can watch the result in VirtualDub.

No software DVD player can show separated (muxed) SVCD subtitle streams!
