I'm trying to find out how to create multiple CD subtitles?

Right now I've created the Divx movie that will fit onto two CDs. I have created the loadable sub file (did not create a perm one into the divx). So far I havn't split the Divx movie... how can I split the subtitle file and make sure it will work properly and in sync with each CD?

what format are your subtitles in? If they are in idx/sub files just run
rundll32 vobsub.dll,Cutter. And for other types of subs like srt i think you can only split them in subrip when you first rip the subs there is an options to split them apart.

The file extention of my subtitle file is .srt , I'm not really familiar with Subtitles so maybe if you could explain a little on how to use SubRip to split this that would be great.

Shit... I just re-read your post... dammmm my problem is that my orig DVD is now scrated to hell due to my Son screwing around with it lastnight. Is there any other way to split a .srt subtitle file?

Actually was looking if you have a srt file you can do two options.. You can download SubAdjust from doom9's downloads and open your srt file with that and i belive you can split.. it had the options (i didn't test it) or you can load your Srt file into SubRip. which all you have to do is click the 2nd button from the left in the toolbar which will open your text output window then open your srt file with it and then you can split it using the split feature of that.. But again i didn't test to make sure it works i just looked at the programs to see if they looked like they could do it.

WOOHOO! I got it working... SubRip did it just great! Basically I just loaded the orig .srt file and then just selected the Open AVI button and pointed it to the first part of my 2 CD file split, then pointed it to the second file and there ya go! Two working and in sync subtitle files!
