Remove subtitle

Hi!
Is it possible to remove subtitle from mpg or avi file and How?

I guess the best things to do is to search from another source...
Cause removing subs is like logo removing, but you get plenty of subs
vs one logo generally ;)
It should be possible to reconstruct the info the subs are hiding,
but i don't think you'll reach 100% success...
And it's depending of what kind of sub you would remove...
since it can go from ....
- yellow subs
- incrusted chinese subs in the movie that you'll find in old hk dvd.
- multi coloured subs like in some anime fansubs,
- karaoke subs... etc.
