% and ½ signs are a relly difficult for subrip to get right as the sign actullay is 3 signs.
subrip looks at these as 3 single signs, instead of on sign.

how about make postpro that does
1/2= ½
°/°= %

that way when % and ½ occured, we can enter it one sing by one and have the postpro correct it back to the right sign.

I think zuggy has the "expand selection" feature on his todo list ;)

To get it right directly during OCR would be the most optimal I believe... instead of having alot of replacements.

btw; I think the latest SubRip supports your own made replacement list through a dictionary file... read the docs.

It does. However not in a simple userfriendly way. as you have to edit some files youself.
But the above feature would ROCK

Then use Gabest's SubResync until it's implemented in SubRip then, which already has this OCR feature, if you don't mind not preserving styles ;)
