How can I split .sub???

Hi.....
Does anybody know a method for splitting .sub files?I have tried many ways but none works.

are you talking about splitting .sub files created with vobsub ? if so then you can simply use rundll32 vobsub.dll,Cutter and it will split the idx/sub files for yea.. If you are talking about text based sub files then i belive SubRip allows you to split them.. But not sure since i don't run the program.

I am talking abut text based subs.SubRip allows you to split those files while you create them.But I didn't split them at that time and now I have deleted the vobs from my harddisk.
Any other ideas?
