Direct Vobsub problem

Hi all

I'm using Direct Vobsub to display subtitles and I'm having a little problem:

I have lots of cds with the following files:
- movie.avi
- movie.txt (subtitles in MicroDVD format)

When using direct vobsub the subtitles aren't loaded: they must be in ".sub" or in ".srt"

Is there any way to make direct vobsub display the ".txt" subtitles either manually or automatically?

You can consider using BSPlayer, which (afaik) displays ".txt" subtitles.

I don't know about Automatically with .txt extensions but what you can do is Load the DirectVobSub configure dialog and in the options always have it loaded.. Then when you load the movie load the filter properties and browse to your subtitle file and it will then use it. but that can be a bit annoying if you swap cd's out alot.

Associate *.sub with notepad if it hurts ;)
