First of All, I would like to congratulate the developers of SubRip for making this wonderful tool to Rip DVD subtitles. Thanks Guys!!
I'd like to suggest an option feature for future versions:

- Some characters are much equal in some type fonts (like 'l' and 'I'). If the user could select an option to subRip always ask to confirm such characters, either if they already appeared or not, I think it could reduce the time of type revision of the generated text subtitles.

Thanks,
use "Post OCR correction" for this purpose.

You would spend hours to make subtitles, if we would make it as you suggested.

if you are doing spanish subs i woudl recomen you to go

I will look it and make OCR sensitivity really full sensitive by 1000 value :-)

I don't know about "anti-!" and "i" likeness, but "I" and "l" are fully equal in most fonts.

As you see (if i got the font right) inversed ! are a litle thiner in the top than the i.
On 980 they are considered equel with 1000 they are considered different.

is not a bug of subripper but something to consider when doing spanish subtitles
