I ripped a subtitle from VOB files using Subrip, save it as SON file.
I use Maestro and import the SON file, and the problem occurs.
The first asset of the subtitle said AI00594 (by the way i'm doing AI)
I know that AI00594 is the bitmap file I get from Subrip.
What happen to AI00001 - AI00593?
I've checked the SON file in word processor, and its fine.

As I know from this forum, DVD Maestro sometimes ignores subtitles with timecodes smaller than 1 hour. As a workaround you can use +1 hour offset of SON file and then in Maestro give -1 hour offset. For more info search this forum.

zuggy is right.
when u cce the video u accepted the default offset of +1 hour it suggests. Maestro accepted as well and imported the sub range that start +1hour and onwards.
click on the timecode in your Maestro window. and click the reset button. The start time should be 0:00:00:00. If u can't make it accept it u should find another programm to reset the timecode of your video stream to zero. I have heard that there is one but it slips my mind right now.

I was able to reset the timecode to 00.00.00.00 if the movie asset have only one file, but if i have a lot of m2v files, it just cant do.
Or can you just tell me what is the best tool for merging m2v files.

Hi Sky_Dave...
In Maestro, if your movie contains multiple m2V files, You can import
subtitles only under the first m2V file.
Just remove temporary all m2V, replace by a Jpeg picture and adjust the lentgh to match your total movie time.
Import subtitles.
Replace now with your m2v files....

alternately u can right click on the movie lane and save mpeg video. U save the combined video in one long file. Be carefull of your hd system. Fat 32 doesn't support files bigger than 4gb.

I've just finished doing my AI, adding menu and subtitle.
It's cool.
By the way, the subtitles dont look so sharp.
Maybe cause i convert it in 4bit BMP by Maestro SBT.
