Importing Subtitle on VOB file

Hi everyone.
I've a strange problem.

I'm working on a VOB.
I've exported the video 720x576 and I've recompressed and reduced
(352x288) the size.

I've modified the IFO file by IFOEDIT to play at 352x288, reimporting
all stuff: all OK.
Menu, pointer, everything is working.

But... the subtitles are still in 720x576, and are not visibles.
They are visibles only when are in the top of the screen (but VERY
LARGE, of course!)

Well, I've exported the subtitles like BMP RLE 2bit files.
I've resized them at 352x288
I've recompressed them like BMP RLE 2bit.

Well: now, HOW I can reimport in my newest BMP in the VOB?
None of the subtiles softwares does it.

Last, my BMPs are more smallest in byte dimensions: it's important for
the correct play of this VOB in DVD layout?

I've tried even to make a 720x576 subtitles, but with the subtitles in the first quarter-left of the frame.

In this case, I'm be able to view the subtitle at 720x576 over my video at 352x288.

My only problem is to reimport this damns .BMP in the VOB, and reorder the pointers, because the BMP are not the same dimension of originals.

How I can do?
