Subtitles in OggMux don't show

I've installed the Ogg Subtitle Filter, but when I play the .ogm file I made in OggMux using Windows Media Player, the subtitles don't show up. Also, the DirectVobSub icon does appear in my system tray. How does the subtitle stream in an .ogm file work? Do you need VobSub installed to make it work? If so, why is it better than just having the subtitle file as a separate .srt file? Thanks.

Have you named the subtitle files after the movie's name?VobSub is not needed to play subtitles in that format.

You can use Dvobsub to playback Ogm files muxed with subtitles.. But it seems that Subtitds and Dvobsub sometimes cause problems with each other so you might wanna try unregistering one or the other and see if you can then playback the file with subs.
