Missing .IDX file

I've downloaded a movie including a .SUB file...

Works fine in Media Player, but I can't use the file in VirtualDub, and I think it's because I'm missing the .IDX file...

How can I solve this??

You have a text based sub file. which is different from idx/sub file. In virtualdub use the TextSub filter instead of the vobsub filter and it will work without a problem for yea. Also you can use subresync to change it to ssa or other formats if you want.
