avi to vcd with sub's

i need to know how to add sub's to this jap film THE EYE and it's already in avi but i need to know how to add the sub's when i encode it to vcd...plz help someone

When the subs are in(!) the avi, why do you think it won't be in the vcd?
Or do you have the subs in an extra file?

then they are part of the picture and will be encoded as well as the rest of it as ZQ pointed out
